🎬 PART 2: «Why He Recognized Them»

The woman went completely still.

The biker slowly turned toward her.

“What does he mean?”

Her lips trembled.

“I didn’t know how to tell you.”

The suited man gave a cold laugh.

“She asked you to pretend?”

The biker’s eyes narrowed.

“Yes.”

The man looked directly at him.

“She didn’t need to.”

Silence swallowed the diner.

The woman began to cry.

The biker stepped toward her.

“Ma’am?”

She shook her head.

“Please forgive me.”

“For what?”

Her hand rose carefully toward his face.

“I gave birth to twins when I was seventeen.”

The biker stopped breathing.

She looked toward another man at the table.

“I was told you both died.”

Neither biker moved.

The suited man’s face tightened.

The woman looked back at him.

“But years later, I learned someone had paid to make me believe that.”

The large biker’s hands began to shake.

“Who?”

She turned toward the suited man.

“He did.”

His confidence vanished.

The biker stared at the woman, eyes filling despite everything he was fighting to hold back.

“You’re saying…”

She nodded through tears.

“I came here because I was afraid of him.”

Her voice broke.

“I had no idea I was asking my own son to protect me.”

The biker swallowed hard.

Then gently covered her trembling hand with his.

“You don’t have to pretend anymore, Mom.”
