🎬 PART 2: «The Sister They Buried Without a Body»

The groom stared at her.

“No. My sister died.”

The maid shook her head.

“There was never a body.”

The bride suddenly stepped between them.

“This is insane.”

But the groom wasn’t looking at her anymore.

He looked at the violin.

A tiny silver plate was fixed beneath the strings.

Two initials were engraved into it.

E.M.

His mother’s initials.

He touched it with shaking fingers.

“That was hers.”

The maid nodded.

“She gave it to the woman who raised me.”

The groom’s voice broke.

“Why would my father say you were dead?”

The maid reached into her apron and pulled out an old envelope.

“Because your mother tried to leave him.”

Inside was a photograph.

Their mother stood holding two children.

The groom recognized himself.

And beside him—

a little girl.

The same unmistakable eyes as the maid.

He looked toward his father in the front row.

The older man stood abruptly.

“Enough.”

Every guest turned.

The groom’s face hardened.

“You knew she was alive?”

His father said nothing.

The maid began crying again.

“He knew where I was every year.”

The groom looked at her.

“How?”

“He paid the family raising me.”

The bride whispered,

“Why?”

The maid looked at the groom.

“Because your mother left something to both of us.”

His father’s face changed.

The groom noticed.

“What did she leave?”

The maid looked around the oceanfront estate, the chandeliers, the wedding hall.

Then back at him.

“Everything.”

The groom slowly turned toward his father.

And for the first time that day, the man who had controlled the entire family looked afraid.
