🎬 PART 2: «Why Charlotte Vale Came Back Covered in Blood»

The blonde woman stepped backward.

“You’re lying.”

Charlotte opened the folder again.

Inside was an old photograph.

Two young women stood in front of the hotel on opening day.

Charlotte.

And the blonde woman’s mother.

The older man stared at it.

Charlotte spoke quietly.

“My father left me controlling ownership of this hotel.”

The blonde woman shook her head.

“My family owns this place.”

“No.”

Charlotte looked around the ballroom.

“Your family has been managing it.”

Her eyes returned to the woman.

“While telling everyone I was dead.”

The crowd erupted in whispers.

The blonde woman’s voice cracked.

“If you owned it, why come here looking like this?”

Charlotte’s expression changed.

“Because someone tried to stop me before I reached the ballroom.”

She pulled a broken phone from her bag.

On its cracked screen was a paused video.

The older man pressed play.

Security footage appeared.

A car forcing Charlotte off the road.

Two men dragging her from the wreck.

And one of them making a phone call.

The voice on speaker was unmistakable.

The blonde woman’s.

Don’t let her reach the hotel.

Silence swallowed the room.

The blonde woman’s face collapsed.

Charlotte stepped closer.

“You knew exactly who I was when you saw me crawling through those doors.”

“No…”

“You weren’t disgusted because I looked poor.”

Charlotte’s voice trembled with controlled anger.

“You were terrified because I survived.”

The older man looked at the certificate again.

Then at the ballroom.

“Miss Vale… what do you want us to do?”

Charlotte looked at the woman who had just humiliated her.

Then at the hotel her father had built.

“First?”

She wiped the last trace of blood from her mouth.

“Get her out.”

The blonde woman froze.

Charlotte held her gaze.

“People like her don’t belong here.”
